Procrastinator's Anonymous

I am a life-time member of this group. Dues paid in full. (well, maybe not in full but I'll get to it - eventually - trust me)

I have many photos from a dear family member to scan and upload to the family web site. I have other digital files of photos from two other dear family members to put on the web site. I have all the photos I took at the Memorial Day Weekend cookout to transfer from my camera, compress them for file size and get them on the web site. I also finally learned how to use my digital camera to take video movies and I have to learn how to get those onto the web site.

Tonight, finally, after much (you guessed it) procrastination; I got my husband's expense report scanned in and sent to the office after fumbling around trying to scan it as a .pdf document and keep the file size small enough to send as an email attachment without plugging up the Office Admin's email and hogging all the bandwidth in the entire United States, Canada, Mexico and numerous European countries!

There is a lot I need to do that I just haven't done yet. I'll do it all this week. My intentions are good. I really have every intention in the world of doing these things. This week. Early this week. Really.

Procrastination is like that itch I can't quite reach to scratch. It lurks stealthily in my mind all the time. Procrastination (that sneaky beast) is always looking over my shoulder, whispering in my ear, urging me to just wait, put it off, it'll keep. Plenty of time for all that stuff later...

In the Procrastinator's Anonymous club, I am the founding mother of the whole dang shebang and my card is numbered 000001!

I have a whole bunch of things I want to talk about but tonight doesn't seem to be the night. I am kind of tired from two days of cook outs and drinking some alcoholic beverages (which is something I really very seldom do these days). Sounds like procrastination doesn't it?

So...until perhaps tomorrow, or the next day, or the next...

More later.
